What is the best way to tweak your car in NASCAR 08?

What is the best way to tweak my race car in NASCAR 08 for the superspeedways like taledaga, daytona, and pocono? Everytime i race those tracks my car seems to be really slow and the other cars fly right by me and some times lap me.
Rear Gear Ratio will help but you can adjust too far
LOL, I gave up on this same situation. The makers of ‘08 must think that the nascar fans who wanted the game are real life pit crewsmen. I mean, everything I do to fix the handling on my car, everyone elses seems to be better and my car is always all over the track. Good luck with it.
