what happens when you have non-FIA approved racing seats and get caught by cops?

im planning to get racing seats to replace my old seats but i can only ge non FIA approved since there cheaper, just want to know what happens when u get caught?
as i understand it fia has no jurisdiction in this,
you need an astm rated belt, and unless you do something really hokey, cops won’t notice.
I think the main thing is to have seat belts “clicked on” as that is what the cops watch for.
I dont think that FIA has anything to do with your local police department.
Safety ticket violation and your insurance rates will go up…..
