What are you looking forward to most in the 2008 NASCAR season?

Do you have any expectations from this season in NASCAR? What would you like to see? I can’t wait to see Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch working as team mates. That could be some intense action there. And you know their going to have a different kind of attitude, driving Toyota.
Jr bombing at Hendricks, proving he sucks, exposing the mental handicaps of his fan base.
NOTHING sorry i give up after this year not watchin commercial racing this year going to support the short tracks

I am interested in seeing how Toyota stacks up this year with Gibbs drivers trying them out.. It will be a different ballgame with a team that has better resources and can put more money into it. Will show if its money that makes the team.. or drivers.

Yeah, I think all of the JGR drivers are going to have the wick turned up just to prove they didn’t make a mistake switching to Toyota.
I am also going to be interested to see what NASCAR does to calm some of the criticism with the controversy that’s been boiling over with qualifying, points, the chase, etc. (for 2009) and how the COT does now that it will be full time and the teams can put all of their focus and resources on it.
The starting of the Daytona 500 and the Budshoot out.i have no expectations.i cannot wait to see dale jr working along his teammates if that is possible.
Dale Jr winning some races and making the chase and “NO” blown dang motors, and having a shot at winning the championship..

I’m looking forward to seeing how Dale Jr. fares in Hendrick equipment. I would like to see him blow Teresa out of the water, so to speak, with some victories over DEI.
To see how the new group of open wheel stars do in the premier league this year. It will be the first full-time season for Patrick Carpentier, Jacques Villenevue, Dario Franchitti, and Sam Hornish, Jr. I am really anxious to see how they handle the difference in car styles.
On a similar note, I am very interested in seeing if Juan Pablo Montoya continues to evolve and, maybe, win an oval race.
I am looking forward to the Racing!!!!!!

I want to see Mark Martin take the checkered flag in the #8 car. And I like to watch the people sing our national anthem before the race.
Some day Toyota will be a good car I just don’t see it yet. It took two good drivers to a lot of did not qualify to mean much. As for what I’m looking forward to is every thing NASCAR.
I will be looking for Toyota to make vast improvements over last year, especially with JGR added to the mix. It will be interesting to see if Dave Blaney and BDR can win a race. I will also be watching to see if Tony Stewart can still show that he can continue learning and improving. He is, after all my favorite driver, and one of the reasons for that is that I think he is always learning and improving.
To see how Toyota does.How will the Gibbs drivers do. How will Jr do with the best equipment. Still be mediocre or do better? Will Kasey do any better in 08. How the open wheel guys do. How many wrecks will Montoya cause? Will it be the Jeff and Jimmie show again? I hope so.

Other than the wave of the first green flag in Feb, I can’t wait to see if JR improves with his new team. I also can’t wait to see Kurt & Kyle Bush wreck a few times!

I’m curious to see how Junior works with his new team, but I’m more interested in seeing Mark Martin and Elliott Sadler win a race.
Casey Mears gettin’ multiple wins next season, and seein’ the first win for Toyota in the CUP series will be neat.
Findin’ out how JR will do, and how many of his ravin’ fans stick w/ him will be interesting also.

The COT. That thing is FUGLY! Bad enough they made the car look like a truck. DITCH THAT IMPORT TUNER WING AND THAT STUPID LOOKING CHIN SPLITTER.
Another year of guaranteed starting spots. What’s the point of even qualifying if you’re just going to give us a show of the top paying sponsor’s cars?
Another year of the chase. When is NASCAR going to dump this lame idea and get back to the real points chase?
My only expectation is Toyota getting some wins from the Gibbs drivers. Go Smoke!!!

The possibility of Jimmie Johnson winning 3 straight championships to tie Cale Yarborough in that category. I’m also curious to see how Jr will do in good equipment, he won’t have anymore excuses.
Martin Truex to win his first Sprint Cup championship!!!!
And Paul Menard to finish second in the standings!!
Jeff winning the championship. I agree with the teammates of Kyle & Tony…. can’t wait to see those fireworks. Tony might just have a different attitude – lots of adjustments for him this year (Toyota, Bush..) Good luck and I’m looking forward to 2008.
Watching Jr. win will be great. Although, I do want to see how Smoke does in a Toy.

Kasey Kahne doing better than he did last year. With the new Bud and Gillette behind him now he oughta have a good chunk of change to help him out.
i just want to see some excitement!!!! and some real racing instead of a sponsorfest soap opera…i know thats why all you women are getting into the sport so much. ; )
