To add more variety to NASCAR should a clockwise circuit be added to the schedule?

If NASCAR wants a schedule with true variety why do they not have any races on a clockwise circuit? Do you believe a clockwise race would cause problems with the cars or expose the drivers to a gravitational force that is too high or is their no reason?
so clockwise the preferred line would be with the banking up next to the wall? Maybe someone could be a special clockwise track with reverse banking.
It would be much too dangerous. The drivers would be right next to the wall if they raced like this. If someone blew a tire….
They DO go clockwise in road courses. And, it is so strange to watch pit stops be done backwards. I don’t like it!
they dont do that for safety reasons
im not sure but most tracks are meant to be driven counter clockwise so there might be safety issues i personally believe nascar should add more road courses and maybe some dirt tracks, i know arca cars (similar to cup cars) run some dirt tracks so i think cup should too that would provide variety and weed out the best of the best
No the cars are not set up to run the opposite way.
I dont like the idea but dont see a problem with it. There are no saftey issues involved. The drivers should be able to adapt to the situation and the cars can be set up to run in any direction they choose.
Go fast turn left!
The road courses do run clockwise. And they need to add at least two more of them. Mid-Ohio would be a good one and I’d love to see 43 of those big stock cars going through the carousel turn at Laguna Seca. I think they should run each road course track twice a season like they do most of the ovals as well. Just my two cents though…
No
races, like any other types of races…horse races, human races, meant to go counter clockwise. I wish they would add more road courses where there drivers turn right more often, but the idea of a clockwise oval would be weird.
YA SURE AND THEY CAN DRIVE THE CARS IN REVERSE TOO………
We already have that crap…it is called ROAD-COURSE racing, and it reeks! Those two places (I won’t glorify them by calling them ‘tracks’) should be blown up and replaced on the schedule with Rockingham and North Wilkesboro
