How about using a dirt track format for nascar?

Have heat races
Then last chance races
Then have a feature
Use the old format of scoring
This will allow more cars to be involved in nascar. You would need to still have a cap on how many cars could enter. I don’t have all the details worked out. Maybe this could at least spark a [...]
