Nelsinho Piquet é segundo na Nascar Truck Series em Nashville

A quarta posição na largada na etapa de Nashville da Nascar Truck Series era um indicativo do que poderia vir. Só que um bom início nas longas corridas da categoria não costumam assegurar um bom resultado no fim. Com um bom desempenho durante todas as 150 voltas da prova e duas ultrapassagens nas últimas cinco, Nelsinho Piquet chegou na segunda posição e conseguiu o melhor resultado de um brasileiro na Stock Car americana. A vitória ficou com Kyle Busch, que também corre na Sprint Cup, a divisão principal da categoria. Miguel Paludo terminou em 27º.
