Why do top Nascar drivers race in the Nationwide series?

I was wondering why some drivers in Nascar run in the Nationwide series (jeff burrton, kyle busch, etc.) and others appear to? I was wondering why some choose to do it and why some don’t?

How come Nascar hasn’t done anything about Toyota’s dominance of the Nationwide series?
