I am a Nascar fan, and have noticed that during the tire changes you never actually see the lug nuts. What happens to them? They don’t hit the ground, so where do they go?

In Formula 1, additions can be made to cars throughout the season, but there is no in-season testing other than race weekends. Is this the same in NASCAR?
Allan, it was a serious question about in-season testing regulations. It was not a criticism of the technology. So, run along back to F1 please…

I havn’t really payed attention to qualifying in NASCAR, but i recently started to watch it a little bit. I know that for the Sprint Cup series there is more than 43 cars that try to qualify and obviously only 43 make it. So the ones that don’t get a good time fail to qualify. But what happens if they crash during qualifying? Like how do they find out where they start?

Nascar races are pretty long, and the driver’s don’t have breaks unless there’s a red flag. That means if they have to go to the bathroom, they can’t leave their cars quickly for a bathroom break. I was thinking that maybe some of the drivers wear diapers during their races if they don’t think they can hold it until the race is over. Is this true?

Is there a place to search all music played by NASCAR on Fox that aired during the race, specifically right before they went to commercials. I’ve been combing the Internet and other sources to find a song that was played back on April 6, 2008-The Samsung 500.

Do they have some kind of system so they don’t have to just go in their suit? Has a nascar driver ever lost a race because he soiled himself and blamed it on that?
jarhead did you know that is actually against the law in some states! In oregon it is against the law because hazmat crews have to pick it up. They call them pee bombs and you get in trouble for doing that.

With all the sponsorships and tie ins nowadays what do you think is served as the meal at the banquet? Will Jimmie Johnson drink Gatorade exclusively as per his contract? Will Gordon swill Pepsi and chew Nicorette while devouring his well cooked NASCAR sponsored meal? And what will be the main course?? Aflac duck under glass?
Oh, wait I guess that would be if Edwards won the Cup wouldn’t it?

I have not seen anyone ask this ridiculous question in a while.

Does it impress you how well Nascar drivers train themselves to withstand 4 hours of driving? Amazing if you ask me.

No I am just kidding I know how they pee. I think it is amazing how the drivers can condition their bodies to endure the heat & driving for 4 hours at a time. Amazing, in addition to loosing so much fluid via sweating.
