CORRECTION – Date in video titling is wrong. This is heat race action from Sat. (night two 9-26-09) of the ASCS NW season finale. After 16 races at five different tracks, Snohomish, WA native Jared Ridge entered the weekend with a razor thin points lead over Oregon’s Roger Crockett and California hot shoe Steven Tiner. The two night, championship event would feature many dramatic developments including football size rocks in the track, a 10 hour drive to replace a blown motor, the temporary closure and evacuation of the speedway due to a fire at the town lumber yard AND a first lap wreck in the Saturday night feature involving all three contenders!
