finally a battle over 5th place has meaning! plus I like seeing the “stop for children” signs swing out in the turns
I think they are going faster than they look. From the driver’s view, it looks a lot faster. Maybe 50. They are just so long, 55 feet, that it just looks slow. Hitting something that weighs 20,000 lbs with another 20,000 lbs is a big hit at 50 mph.

This stuff is totally ace. We need more of this. The only cool part of NASCAR is crashes. That makes this great. Huge vehicles making sharp turns going as fast as they can. That’s awesome!
I love bus races! But could you imagine going around those turns in a huge bus at ANY speed? *eyes wide* *grin*
