I’m a hardcore Gordon fan, been a fan since ‘98, but god dammit. Jr. has THEE worst luck in NASCAR, I don’t think he’s given enough credit as a RACE CAR DRIVER. Really hope he and Lance get it together and pull out a few wins before the year is out.

Jr didn’t have enough corporate power in DEI to control anything. He was simply a driver with a contract and some good profit sharing in the company. He negotiated his contract and tried to get a bigger say in how he would run his team but failed to make any progress. So he painfully decided to leave DEI and drive for a successful team before he gets too old to win a championship.
i dont understand what you mean when you say he gets tired after the race. he gets intense behind the wheel i think he drains himself tryin to get the car and everything else right
Carl Edwards likes to work out. Junior has straight said he likes to go out and have a good time. With his Earnhardt name he doesn’t have to workout, he will always have a ride. A lot does depend on the car and the handling. I started as a die hard fan starting with Sr. 20 years ago when I was 12. I liked Sr. just to piss off my dad.
