On the backstretch, Brad Keselowski gets into the back of Carl Edwards, sending him into the fence and himself into Victory Lane for the first time.
I was right by this when it happened! Maybe 2 rows over..Amazing! 5*

I still think this is the really an awesome moment in 2009. Last lap, edwards crashes out of the lead, FLIPS, and gets out to RUN across the finish line!? Amazing, thtas dedication right there..
i found it funny when the wreck happened they instantly felt bad for ryan newman wtf i didnt see his car flying throught the air

I dont know why people hate on NASCAR. I like pretty much all motorsport, and NASCAR is at least as exiting as any other track racing.
Its a shame all the same though, I think NASCAR could get very interesting if they put the STOCK back into the stock car racing.
Anyway, hope I can make it to talladega one day, all the way from the UK!

Well on the back of the ticket to any event at my local track here in the UK it says “you are here at your own risk” so unless the guy sued I wouldn’t see why NASCAR changed the rules.

if Edwards’ car was just a little higher when he hit Newman, he would have killed him most likely, so that was a huge relief.

In more, In France, we had ZERO commercial during all the race and we could see all.
dude, it wasnt his fault. he couldnt go below the yelow line, and edwards plain just didnt have the room he thought he did when he went to block down low. keselowski did nothing wrong, he just played by the rules.

If I remember right, James Finch was already gone when Brad won and had to go back.
Carl Edwards was one of the first to say Brad did nothing wrong, Brad went high and Edwards followed him that allowed Brad to have a clear shot at the low line. He was beside Edwards before the two cars made contact and because of the rule about the yellow line Brad had nowhere to go when Edwards moved down the track to get the low line. This was neither of their faults just a product of racing.
