***Watch This in HQ*** WOW, what a Big Crash in the final Lap of the Aaron’s 499. Carl Edwards car flip over the air and Ryan Newman gets involved also. Congratulation to Brad Keselowski for his First NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Win. ***Injuries Update*** According to NASCAR.com, 8 peoples are injured from flying debris but, mostly minor injuries.
its funny that if you were blind you would of never known that edwards even got airborne b/c the commenters were focused on Keselowski.

people can talk all the smack they want about the safty of nascar and so on and so forth, but the bottom line is these drivers know the risks involved with their jobs. there are only so many safefy precautions you can take with vehicles that travel 200 mph.
Yea, they showed a picture of after it happened, and it looked like half ogf her jaw was sawed off. It’s a good thing that she’s okay.

Yeah, but yesterday is a great example, everything that NASCAR did to keep the car from blowing over, look at Newman, nothing you can do about that. And Martin’s flip just you can’t do anything to stop those kind of cars from happening.
Racing is already 100 times safer than 5..10..15 years ago with head restraint system and the HANS device and such but in the end Racing is dangerous it will never be 100% safe unless u plan on having cars go 75mph and what kind of excitement is that?
This isn’t racing. That’s what everybody is complaining about. This is a fucking circus act with people’ lives at stake. They need to change something or someone will die. Look what happened today.
NASCAR has done a great job but they cant prevent every situation I really wish they would quit trying to make racing 100% safe its just not going to happen Racinng is inherently dangerous
I was watching a special about this on ESPN yesterday, a girl broke her jaw. It looked really painful, and she had to take her graduation pictures like that. Good that NASCAR is inviting them back. Hopefully they’ll get box seats this time.

Carl knew he’d been outdone otherwise he wouldna ran across th line like he did.. i think that was pretty cool these boys definately have alotta love for each other and sure they wanna win but they mostly do it for th fun and th friends
for TheNascarfan i thought u would be able to see it as it is.. here’s what happened..just before th entry to turn 3 Brad moved up.. Carl moved up to block but while Carl was moving up and by now we’re 3 quarters thru entering turn 3 Brad had moved back down and was sittin true on th inside lane his grill was already equal with Carls rear left tyre which caught Carl by suprise as he came back down to block again.. Carl spun out.. Brad won th race.. THE END
Carl shoulda held his line, forced Brad to th outside.. probably woulda won or atleast came 2nd.. tha move by Brad was perfect he knew if he moved up Carl would too and as quick as Carl moved up to block, Brad was alreadu back down and had a nostril in and prob woulda won anyway being on th inside and obviously had more pace.. Carl knew this but didnt expect Brad to get a nostril in that quick, Carl was already in th blocking motion and as he came back down he realised he’d been out manouvered
