Thanks to Rustyfan for this great capture. In 1960 Daytona Superspeedway hosted this sportsman race. 68 cars entered into the race, back then there were a maximum of 68 cars in a superspeedway race. Coming out of turn four 37 cars get into a massive wreck where at least six cars get on their roofs. Amazingly, evryone walked away from this. By the way, I am really getting tired of people having arguments that lead to name calling and slander. If I see a comment that put another member down or …
37 involved in the crash.
did he say 68 cars holy crap
The best wreck i ever seen.
I was thinking more the sound effects for the crash, haha.
here they come….THEYRE RACING
What kind of cars are those?
To each his own, I suppose. But, “driving 500 miles in a circle doesn’t impress me.”
Those over dubs were amazing, haha.
that was hilarious.
Theres alot more into the sport besides left turns but an ignorant person wouldn’t be able to see that.
Racing is fun, but watching racing is fuckin boring!!!!
If you like to bash America so much why is your name Yank-man
retard its fun if you race something
Im trying to understand why this shit is so popular!!!
So why do you limp wrists even watch a Nascar video if you don’t like it? Idiots
Theres nothing like watching people drive in a circle. It’s just the most amazing thing. Not only are they going fast, but they are also turning! I’ve gotta go and drink some beer and beat my wife now.
thats the only thing americans like to see , crashes ..
never drink drive you might spill the drink
150 mph on those tires! yipes! No wonder every body crashed
Silly boy!
Why do Americans make up such lame 7 simple excuses for sports? Nascar is basically an easier version of the V8 Supercars. The Indy Race League (which is dominated pretty much by a New Zealander) is an easier version of the Formula . American Football is an easier version of Rugby & Baseball is basically a spin-off of cricket.
This could NOT happen today for many reasons. Radio communication alone would prevent cars from wrecking so long after the initial crash.
Could something like this happen in a race in this era? Yes, if it happened right on the start or restart and the leaders crash blocking the track in a huge pack…
“Banjo’ and ‘Fireball’.
That was men.
Today, it’s ‘Pink Panties’ and ‘Nancy’
Screw Nascar
hahaha… fantastic!!!
