It should be rescheduled and original ticket holders attend.

they will race on Monday, and if not then, on Tuesday. There will be a race though. If you dont want to go to the race, I am sure you can get your money back.

it will be postponed til the next day. Read the back of ur ticket also!

Nope, usually they are able to attend the next day…usually a Monday race. This happened to me in Atlanta…the tickets were still good when the race was rained out on Sunday…they had it on Monday and we were able to attend. Of course, you need to be able to use them on Monday…hopefully you won’t have to work or something!

Tickets are still good til the race is run.

As long as they run the race your ticket will be good. Some of the tracks will make the seats general seating as well. Meaning you may not have to sit in the seat you are assigned. Which could be a good thing if there are better seats available. However, if they do it that way I would hope Nascar fans sitting in your seat would gladly get up and let you sit there.

More than likely they will not refund your money if you can’t attend the make up date. So, I would do everything in your power to try to make it to the rescheduled time if it comes to that.

    Have Fun!!

ABSOLUTELY!!!! IT happened to me last year in Aug. at Michigan. I guess I should explain more. If Sundays race is rained out, then they try to run it Monday, if they still can’t then Tuesday, etc.. By Thursday at the latest, they need to be at the next weeks track. It would be almost impossible to reschedule a NASCAR race, due to there very demanding schedule. Fortunately to this point, NASCAR has alway been able to get rained out races in by Wednesday. I’m not sure what would happen if they couldn’t. Anyway, I’m from OH. and have gone to this race every year for 8 years. Go down Friday morning and come home Monday afternoon. Since the race was rained out both Sun. and Mon. and everyone in my party had to be back to work Tuesday, we were shit out of luck. No refunds on race tickets!!!!

No your ticket is good for a Rain Check–It can be used on Monday!!!!!!

  9. FrankieColetta says:

NO. There WILL be a race wether it’s Monday or Tuesday or even if there forced to re-schedule it for an off weekend months into the season. It’s up to you to attend. If you can’t then your out of luck or you could sell the tickets.

Another scenerio is this! Nascar Policy states that every race becomes official once they reach the halfway point of the race. So even if they start racing Sunday then it starts pouring 1 lap after the halfway point and they cant continue…..The race can be called and whoever is the leader at that time is declared the winner! Therefore, you could only see half a race but that’s the way it goes.

    I hope you have fun.

Race will be postponed…You should have planned to stay for an extra day incase its push forward to Monday, but if you didn’t best bet is your not getting your money back, maybe some of it.
