I have a 95 awd eclipse. and i have 16inch tires on them with some crappy american racing rims that are so?

dirty that i cant clean them. i want eneki fn 18’s… i have 16 inch tires that are like new…is it dumb or is it possible to have them put on the tires i have now?

    Each tire is specifically matted to fit each specific rim… there is no way to increase the rim size without getting new tires.

    No, 16″ tires will not fit on 18″ rims. You will have to buy tires that fit the rims.

    You should check out places like tirerack.com they offer packages that come with tires already installed on rims, you just need to mount them…often the package is cheaper than buying tires and rims separately.

    Alternately, you should go to an automotive shop like Kragen or Autozone and buy some wheel cleaner…

    I see what you’re saying. You have ugly rims with new tires. I would suggest getting 16 inch rims and using those tires. Enkei has plenty 16 inch rims to choose from. Besides if you do get 18’s on your eclipse, it wouldn’t look good unless you get your car lowered. Trust me big rims aren’t always the best option.
