I was wondering how do they get the nascar cars out of the track like out on the road, with all that traffic leaving the building?

They load the cars up on the transport haulers and drive them out just like we drive out of the track. I have seen many haulers on my drives home from the track and it’s pretty darn cool to see ‘em.
Steffy was right but they dont have escorts. They leave hours after the race. 4 example at MIS the race gets done at about 4:30 , 5. They leave at like 8 or 9 or later. Depends on how long it takes them to get packed. My family stays in the infield and its cool to watch them all go around the track.
As stated above the teams haulers go out of the track on the same roads that everyone else does. And not to totally disagree with Adam, but many do leave shortly after the race. I go to MIS every year and park in the lots behind turn 2. While waiting in the tram lines you can see the haulers leaving the track less than an hour after the race is over. But I suppose there would be few, especially the winner and the cars picked for post race inspection, that wouldn’t leave until later. I can’t speak for all tracks, but at MIS the haulers are allowed to blend into the traffic lines easily as the state police officers directing traffic make holes for them as they come out the track’s gates.
They have tractor trailers and they have drivers who drive the tractor-trailers, They usually carry two cars their primary and the back-up car and it contains living space, computers, auto parts, shelves, telemetries, tires, and everything else.
They say theres two races every Sunday. The real race and then the race to get home. The teams load up the cars in the trucks immediately and then fight traffic out and home just like the spectators.

Some of the drivers that have severe personality issues (like Kyle Busch) probably do need to hire an escort service but most of them have real girlfriends or wives.
