How do i make the steering less loose in Nascar 08?

I just bought Nascar 08 for PS3 and on other Nascar games before it i was really good, but when i played this i could barely keep the car straight. How can i make it easier to steer?
I don’t own the game, but I’d check the basic control/game settings. Sounds to me like your current settings are too sensitive.
during a race pause and go to driving controls and settings
On the PS2 version it’s hard to steer too. Make sure the assists are on. Also during a pit stop you should see wedge.
If you add wedge you will make the car tighter. if you take out wedge the car will be looser. Adding too much wedge will lower the car’s handling
A little more as 2 or 3 pound’s more air in the front’s and add more cross wedge to put more weight on left rear.
try taking some spring out to the rear
Sorry, I could totally fix that on a cup car but not on a video game. LOL
Maybe it takes more practice and/or skill?

I have it for ps2 and I had the same problem with the default settings. If you mean “loose” as to the rear of the car coming around in the turns then I suggest you stiffen up the front and add tire pressure to the front as well. also mess with the left weight. On some tracks you can push the fenders in and adjust the rear spoiler. This helps also. Try adjusting your line and driving style as well. Practice, Practice,Practice.
“less loose” is an oxymoron. It should be, “tighten” the steering. Maybe you need an air pressure adjustment.
i had this problem also, i just went into controller settings and adjusted the sensitivity of it of it. if you have the wheel i think its easier the more sensitive you have it.
thats how its supposed to be. Yall need to run NR2003 for the pc. The real cars in NASCAR dont drive easy like they do on the ps2 ea nascar series from 2001-2006. They tried to make the 08 version more realistic. Running Assists means you cant drive your car. Practice controlling the car with no assists to become a good driver.
dang, if this is the levi I know, he probably knows how to setup cars from NSR. Try running some of those setups
