I can see what you mean with regard to women coming from a conservative society, then arriving in a “free”, “open” and “anything goes” society, and going wild.
But there seems to be a contradiction in what you’re saying. Having no “self-respect” AND feeling like one is “superior” cannot co-exist in the same person.

You can say that American women downplay their own beauty; i.e. the beautiful women in America are modest about their own good looks. And it’s part of their charm.
