A behind the scenes look at Dodge Motorsports and Penske Racing as they team up to develop Brad Keselowski’s #22 NASCAR Nationwide Series Dodge Challenger R/T.
@1PATRI0Tindeed. that’s exactly how it was at it’s debut. i’m sure i picked it out at every angle and any distance. do you know if or when we’ll see it again?
Looks great – definately be able to pick em out on the track
Ralph Gilles, if you are reading this the one thing that you must do is shed some weight off of the challenger. I love the challenger but seriously, its being outclassed by the mustang and the challenger.
about as aero dynamic as the top gear eaglethrust i hammerhead 2!
I wish stock cars were stock looking.
This car (other than front clip) looks nothing like
a Challenger. It appears queer at best !!
So what is the point of naming these cars after the production models? They are all the same underneath, just a different plastic shell or whatever. So silly.
making a race car out of the most non-aerodynamic car of all time…… kinda of funny — but cool!
@giannicabiglio My thought exactly…couldn’t have said it better. I love the Challenger but the NASCAR Challenger is basically the same thing as the NASCAR Camry, just with sexier clothes on and some Dodge tweaks to the engine.
Gorgeous
Sexy!!!
Looks like every other plastic NASCAR body slapped onto a completely custom tube frame chassis, with a carbureted V8! Just give it a different name, and everybody goes “OoOOOH, AAAHHH!”
Give me a real Dodge Challenger taken from the lot and turn it into a racecar, maybe then I will start watching NASCAR.
What’s the deal with the rear side window and quarter panel? That’s not factory sheet metal.
Good work Dodge. Now work on making that sweet thing of a ride affordable for me.
FINALLY their starting to make them look like the street versions.
WOW IS SO BEAUTIFUL
i love it so much, but im still wondering about the grill part with it being deep like that, but i sure do hope brad keselowski can pull it into victory lane on one of the races that they use this in this year
This new body should go a long way to erase the old nickname for NASCAR as Taxi cab racing. I like NASCAR, but it was hard to argue with that nickname when the track is filled with a bunch of race cars that are “derived from” 4dr cars. Taurus, Intrepid, now Impala, Charger, Fusion. UGH!
Go Challenger!
wow, this is so nice, finaly some car that looks like a car in pro NASCAR
i would like to see the challenger going 200 MPH+
