Danica Patrick will make her NASCAR debut this weekend at Daytona International Speedway in Florida. The indycar star will drive the No. 7 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in Saturday’s second-tier Nationwide Series race. The decision announced Monday to race at Daytona was made after team officials dissected her stock car racing debut in the ARCA race at Daytona on Saturday. The team had left the option to race up to Patrick, who wanted to assess her first race before deciding whether to enter one of the most prestigious Nationwide races of the season.
this bitch is a fuckin joke way to waste a good ride juz liek when they put jr in the 88
Thank you. I don’t see what the big deal is with her coming over if she thinks she can succeed. She’s got a great team and manufacturer to learn from.
not bad but its gonna take sometime
Gotta give her time. Even Montoya needed a couple of years to really figure these cars out and he has some of the best car control you can have. But that draft aspect and working with other drivers is way different then what she or most other open wheelers is used to. Her times and the way she pickes up on everything is very promising. Her marketing means that sponsers will probably stay with her during her learning curve. So long as she can keep improving and show promise she should make it.
Go Danica
!!! big fan!
And you are…who…a NASCAR official or something…..no a jack ass!!
um dumb ass where was she supose to go give her time she will do good plus she chose her first track to be at daytona which is a wise move now shes going to fontana next week she needs to learn these tracks and the only way she will is to get out there and race
“and she’s never run a lap before” Ummmmmm yes she has been in a nascar race before you dumbass! Watching her head straight for a crash today… i can tell she is not going far in nascar.
GO DANICA PATRICK!!
