(Part 1 of 11) Pennzoil World of Outlaws Channellock Challenge Bristol Motor Speedway Bristol, Tennessee June 10, 2000 ***Bristol is always one of the wildest events on the NASCAR schedule, but do any of you remember seeing it covered in mud. Now a real treat, the Outlaws came to Bristol and man what a show. Its the idea that many thought could, would, and should NOT happen. But it did, and with that here is the 2000 World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Bristol. Most importantly, THE FOLLOWING IS A SPECIAL PRESENTATION OF… TNN MOTORSPORTS!!!*** Enjoy!!!
U gotta have a real big pair to run a sprint car that fast. Those guy are the best nothing compares to world of outlaw sprint cars…
I went both years they did this at Bristol…I wish they’d do it again…What a show!
This was one wicked night. And the World of Outlaws cars went about 2 seconds faster than the Sprint Cup boys did.
WOW!
Awesome, thanks for posting this. I’ve been looking for footage of Bristol’s dirt track for years.
The Woo guys laid waste to the track record. Many non sprint car fans had their eyes opened up during qualifying as the alky injected beasts strutted their stuff….
I heard NASCAR didn’t appreciate the sprint cars going faster than their stock cars. The sprints were fast at this track, faster than Eldora.
They should do that race again at the Bristol Motor Speedway for the world of outlaws
Thanks for this I was there to see the dirt late models.
A great set of videos you posted here allowing me to watch this unique event, thanks!
safety if a car were to go over the grandstands
why did they take out seats on the front streatch?
I wish they still did this at Bristol, it was for sure something special.
